Our Mother the Mountain

I did this tattoo on a young man named Ian. He’s been tattooed by me once a week for the past couple months and always wants something pretty cool. The rest of the pictures are from a trip Heather and I took to Polson, Montana to visit her Grandmother. These horses live on her land and took a cautious interest in us- or the hay we carried. The other photos are from the Miracle of America museum in town. There was too much great stuff in the museum to post on here, I’m going to put in a slide show and post it later.

I did this on my friend Julia. It was a pleasure. The design is from Owen Jensen flash and I drew the vine and leaves on her arm before I tattooed it. The dog is my friend Melvin on Christmas at his Grandmother’s house.

Exotic curiosities and an early America

This is a tattoo I did on a young man named Nick. He traded me to shoulder mount trophies for this tattoo and a couple others. It was a really awesome experience because a got to do a cool tattoo on a cool guy, and I got paid in antique taxidermy. The photo here is of the African Reedbuck. Nick also gave me a Pronghorn Antelope which isn’t hung yet so I haven’t photographed it.

Where Am I?
